Diversified Construction Solutions (DCS) is a WBE certified materials sourcing company for construction and energy sector companies currently based in Minnesota. Our product catalog consists of sediment and erosion control products; as our business grows, we will continue to add new product lines. Our diverse supplier group offers us a multitude of locations to service clients throughout the Midwest and the East Coast, with manufacturing locations in MN, WI, MO, PA, SC, and GA. With project management and construction as our background, our team has over fourty-five years of experience in guiding projects to meet deadlines, requirements, and efficiencies continually focusing on your bottom line. While having experience in many avenues of the construction industry; erosion control, material sourcing and customer service are our main focus. Both Jason and Renee are certified by the University of MN in Erosion and Stormwater Management.
Who We Are
Owner, Renee Brod, PMP, CMP
Renee started DCS in April of 2023. She is a certified Project Manager Professional from the International Project Management Institute. For over the past 13 years she has been executing projects in multiple industries: Agriculture, Financial, Technology and Healthcare. Her professional experience ranges from non-profit executive management, strategic planning, event management to corporate innovation and efficiency.
Renee worked with Jason, her husband, at Q3 Contracting, now Primoris Services Corp, in the early 2000’s when Q3 started a restoration division in Milwaukee, WI. After returning to MN and their hometown of New Prague, MN she worked as an Assistance Vice President at the State Bank of New Prague to be close to their two girls while they attended school. From the financial industry, where her project management began, she moved into the tech industry and volunteered as a Mayo Clinic Health Systems – New Prague board trustee and Foundation trustee. Currently She is completing her last term as a board of director for Catholic United Financial, a MN domiciled fraternal insurance company.
Sales Director, Jason Brod
Jason has been in the utility industry for most of his career. He started as a laborer and made it to the general manager level prior to leaving the utility industry. He was most recently an estimator/project manager for a heavy civil contractor. He is passionate about providing the best product for the job at the lowest cost possible. We only use quality products created by reputable companies that can be trusted. Jason believes quality, cost and ethics are what sells great products, that is what he will offer DCS’s customers.
